the purpose of this mix was to highlight the unique sound of germany. most these records were found at various small record shops in berlin. the result is one of my favorite chill mixes, dynamic yet subtle, perfect for spacey grooves on long roadtrips.

of my many saturday night sets at the cardinal in 2001-2002, this chunk of a 4 hour set got passed on to a couple aussie friends just to give them some new music. a year later i go to taiwan and discover that this mix became a hit as the CD to play in preparation for a big night out.
